When Robin is healed, through the weeks with Deathstroke, he finds comfort in him. Deathstroke, Sensing this, decides to help get Robin's strength back up. With Robin learning new things that Batman never taught him, Robin decides to stay with Deathstroke as a new apprentice, not realizing the mental damage he was doing to his old team. While they were out searching for Robin. Thinking he was dead, little did they know Robin was living his best no strings attached life. After 5 years, the Team gets a mission which happens to be tracking down Deathstroke and his unknown apprentice. When they find him, what will they think? Will Robin even apologize? Is Robin even Robin anymore? What will Batman think? How much has changed on both sides?

What if Richard Grayson never got adopted by Bruce and instead was taken in by Slade Wilson(Deathstroke) but Dick had no idea his guardian was a villain, but in Dicks mind, he looked at everyone as a villain. Slade was very abusive to Dick, making him an obedient "dog." What happens when Batman and the young justice take down Slade for illegal smuggling and he gets away, but they find a bruised and muzzled child in a cage in the process? Will they save him? Will Dick ever find love or will he stay the broken child he is? How will the team act having this child a part of their team? How will Batman act? Will they help the broken child or try to avoid him? Dick just needs to be free of the torment his past gave him, and the only way to do that, is by healing. (This is my take on how Robin became Nightwing) Dick Grayson is a loveable dork, but also a mischief brat. There really is no inbetween for our young bird. But what happens when he gets stabbed by Deathstroke and nearly dies? What will his team think? And how does Dick almost dying, get Deathstroke interested in a new protégé? Dick Grayson, Ward of batman, is what the young justice describe: strong and cunning. He may crack jokes and have a bad child hood, but he has always been strong. When a mission goes wrong, the team gets beat and Robin gets kidnapped by Deathstroke. When the team awakens by the justice league, no one knows what happens or who took their little bird. They searched for him for three years before they gave up on their search, accepting his death. In those three years, Death stroke had broken Robin. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back? Also can the team bring Dick back from his lowest point in life? Will they be able to fix him after the mental and emotional abuse from Deathstroke, or will he be broken and lost forever?
