Clato love story

ALL RIGHTS GO TO SUZANNE COLLINS!! We all know about the Star Crossed Lovers from District 12, but were they the true Star Crossed lovers?? This is a story about Clove and Cato (The tributes from 2), and how life was for them in the District Clove and Cato are training partners at the training center, and get along really well, and become really good friends, but when Cato decided to volunteer to go into The Hunger Games the same year Clove is will they be able to fight each other or will their friendship get in the way of that?? Clove's father turns abusive when her mother dies and when Cato finds out about that, he starts being even more protective of her, and their trainer, the famous Enobaria, finds out about Clove being abused and takes Clove in, and treats her like she is her daughter. Can Clove find the strength she needs or will she fall apart?? Read to find out.

Clove never knew her parents. All she knows is her trainer Favian who sometimes doubles as her dad, and sometimes falls far short of looking out for her. In district 2 they train you not to be heartless, but to ignore your heart. After years of solitude with Favian her only family Clove has mastered this skill almost as well as she's mastered knife throwing. When new training partners for the year are assigned the day after the 73rd reaping, a mistake is made. Clove ends up partnered in the wrong age category with next years best contender for the crown: Cato Hadley. Everyone is jealous but Clove has bigger problems to deal with than her annoying partner. She has a secret that she's kept hidden for years and only Cato can save her from herself.

Everyone knows Katniss and Peeta's story, but no one knows of the star crossed lovers from District 2. This is a clato fanfic from Clove's point of view. This tells the story of life before the games for the infamous tributes, and what went on during the games. Will the games drive them apart because as we all know one tribute comes out alive. I only own this fan fiction but all credit for The Hunger Games and it's characters go to Suzanne Collins.

Seventy-four years has been long enough. The way of the infamous Hunger Games has been altered. No longer is every Gamemaker out to devise the worst means of torture and death for every tribute. No longer are the people of Panem outwardly tolerant of President Snow's murderous actions. Under the facade of a normal group of Gamemakers, several rebellious citizens have begun an experiment which, if it succeeds, will make use of technology both to rescue the tributes before they are dead and then deposit the brainwashed children back in time. They have to try it. No one knows what horrors future Hunger Games may bring, and the desperate rebels are willing to try anything. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions of District 2, Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have trained their whole lives for the Games. Nevertheless, their ambitions change when they, without meaning to, find themselves in the Games together. They are both determined to win. But if they don't, what will happen to them? The brainwashed tributes who land in New York City know nothing of who they are or where they are from. They do not remember Panem, or the Games, or even their own names. This is a science fiction story based off the Hunger Games and its characters. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Hunger Games! Being Cato's friend, she reluctantly agrees to aid him, pushing her feelings to the side. The two teens, along with help from some other friends, get themselves knee deep in drama, heartbreak, and all other kinds of crazy. Cato begins to change, and Clove doesn't like it. At all. Will Glimmer fall for Cato? Will Clove admit to her affections for Cato?
