"As I sat on the toilet, I realized how badass I was being. First of all, I (kind of) broke into Walmart; Second, I was (kind of) plotting to steal toilet paper; and third, I was doing all this while a hurricane was brewing outside." Ellie wanted a quick trip to Walmart to buy some toilet paper for her mom. A minute in, a minute out. Instead, she got locked in. With her secret love, of course.

When you're marked you have two choices; fight or die. Nance lives in the past, literally. Her city is a recreation of early twenty-first century society. To the outside world they're experiments, just rats running around a maze. In an impoverished future world, the city seems to be their only chance of finding where they went wrong, or so they say. Nance doesn't know the real purpose of her home, and she doesn't care. All she sees are the one hundred teenagers, just like her, who are killed every year in the barbaric ritual known as the marking. They tattoo your face and pit you against your peers, against the city. Nance doesn't know why, but it doesn't matter, because she's sixteen and it's her turn to be marked. **So I decided to replace the original story with the rewrite because they are pretty much exactly the same. Plus, it's a lot less complicated then having two separate books for the same story.** There is a * next to all rewritten chapters. THE ORIGINAL VERSION IS COMPLETE. IT'S JUST NOT MARKED AS SUCH BECAUSE I GAVE UP ON THE REWRITE.

As if life wasn't hard enough being bullied and treated like garbage all the time; my loathsome, insufferable seat mate just had to come with his "secrets" and torture my every waking hour. What's the big deal you say? Nothing except for the fact that he's some insanely beautiful Greek God under those nerdy glasses. And now, he lives next door. I'm Sarah and this is my story. Disclaimer: This story was written in 2011. Just so you know.

Sequel to The Psychic Next Door. Rachel Vaughn just wants to feel normal again. After narrowly escaping the wrath of the Beast (and its deranged master) returning to an ordinary life seems impossible, especially with her psychic boyfriend Luc around. It doesn't help that Rachel is tortured every night by nightmares... Nightmares that are beginning to bleed into her waking life. The appearance of a ghostly girl -- a girl only she can see -- threatens what's left of Rachel's delicate mind. It doesn't help that her boyfriend Luc thinks it's all in her head, a product of her past trauma and strained nerves. He's psychic after all; wouldn't he know? But as more and more apparitions begin to appear, Rachel begins to doubt Luc's word. These ghostly girls seem to want something from her. With no one on her side, Rachel is forced to go hunting for her own answers. Only, she might not like what she finds... As unsettling and twisted as the first book, The Psychic Within will drag you in and not let you go.
