Katie Wilmot x Patrick Feely Quiet, observant, and deeply introspective, Katie has spent much of her life learning to hide parts of herself. The absence of her parents left her in the care of her Nan and Grandpa, providing stability but never fully erasing the hollowness she carries. Katie struggles with an eating disorder, a symptom of her need for control in a life that often feels chaotic and unfair. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, like Casey and Aoife, and deeply sensitive to the emotional undercurrents around her. Though she initially appears reserved and cautious, Katie is capable of impulsive emotion - moments where desire, anger, or hurt break through her careful exterior, all emotions caused by the one person who unknowingly haunts and consumes all of her thoughts. Patrick Feely Confident, magnetic, and often impulsive, Patrick struggles with alcohol and self-destructive tendencies that mask his emotional vulnerabilities. He is protective of his friends and fiercely loyal, especially toward Hughie, but often pushes boundaries in ways that hurt those around him - intentionally or not. He did not always act with thought, like a drunken kiss or reckless, intoxicated decisions that he will regret every single day of his life. He screwed up royally, and now he would pick up the pieces again not knowing that repairing a broken heart is a lot harder than tuning a guitar. Patrick carried a bottle like a secret companion. Katie carried hunger like armor. Neither of them asked for help. ∘₊✧─────✧₊∘ Softer, harder, in between. You know just how to get to me. He is stable. You are deep. ⸝⸝ ⟡ Trigger warnings within the book. This is a work of fiction. All rights of storyline and characters belong to Chloe Walsh

𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐡 was destined for greatness, the oldest Kavanagh and the most charming. He was Dublin's golden boy, the kind of kid you wouldn't want your parents to meet as he set the bar far too high. Yet underneath all his charm, there was a selfishness to him he kept well hidden under a guise of passion for his sport. 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 doesn't remember a day being out of water; he has spent his entire life swimming laps up and down bodies of water. It didn't matter if it was chlorine or seawater; if there was a body of water, he would be in it. The longer he spent in the pool, the more he got addicted to the feeling of winning; unlike his younger brother, Thomas thrived in environments where he could work alone. His isolated throne on the first-place podium was his home, and nobody could take that for him. That was until he stumbled across a certain hot-tempered ballerina. 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲-𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐧 has only ever known fire. Her entire life was one big competition, and the world was her enemy. It didn't matter if they were friends or family; everyone was an opposition in her mind. She wasn't sweet and loveable like her little brother; no, she was violent. Every word that came out of her mouth landed like acid on her loved ones' skin. 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲 had a dream, and no one was going to get in her way. She was going to be THE prima ballerina of her generation, get the fuck out of cork, and she was not afraid of getting blood on her hands to get there. After all, blood was all she had ever known...

ᴘᴀᴛʀɪᴄᴋ ғᴇᴇʟʏ x ғᴇᴍᴀʟᴇ ᴏᴄ "Sweets?" "Yes, Patty?" Sienna Quinn was alienated by her peers. Having never experienced a friend, romance or a stable home life, she must try to keep herself from falling off the edge, even when more and more piles on top of her, all while navigating her self-worth and descent into toxic means of coping... Or punishment. Patrick Feely was the dependable Number 12 of Tommen College. Masked behind a stoic, unbothered exterior, he spends his life starved for affection in a home defined by freezing, clinical silence. Running on a robotic loop of grueling manual labor and locker-room expectations, he uses empty, mechanical friction to turn down the roaring volume in his own head. But when a nameless, bruised second-year stray forces her way into his quiet sanctuary, his carefully built walls begin to crack-and the rugged player who learned to listen to hallway cruelty in silence realizes he is entirely sick of watching her bleed.

**Saoirse Máire Lynch** was never meant to be the problem.Fourth year at Tommen College, top of her class, teachers' favourite, future already lined up before she's even finished school. She wears her success like armour-sharp, polished, untouchable. From the outside, she's everything her parents fought for. But Saoirse has always been good at hiding things. She has her mother's shine-the beauty, the confidence, the effortless way she commands attention. And she has her father's darkness-the recklessness, the edge, the part of him that once nearly destroyed everything. The difference? Joey Lynch was caught. Saoirse hasn't been. Not yet. Because while everyone sees perfection, Saoirse crossed the line a long time ago-quietly, carefully, and without leaving a trace. What started as curiosity became habit. What became habit is now something tighter. Something louder. Something she can't fully control anymore. And the worst part? She doesn't know if she wants to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **Nessa Casey Dempsey**lives like consequences don't exist. Also fourth year. Also Tommen College. But where Saoirse is control, Nessa is chaos. She's the life of every party, the name everyone knows, the girl you hear before you see. If it's Friday, she's out. If it's Saturday, she's already somewhere better. And if you're looking for her on a Sunday-don't bother. She doesn't stop. School is an afterthought at best-barely passing, barely trying. But give her a camogie stick, and she's unstoppable. Fast, aggressive, electric on the pitch. It's the only place where everything in her clicks into focus. Everything else? Blurred lines. Late nights. Bad decisions she laughs off like they don't matter. But they do. Because behind the parties and the noise, Nessa is running just as hard as Saoirse-just in a different direction.
