Charlie Vale never meant to become part of Hogwarts.
She was only supposed to stay for one school year. One temporary transfer, one confusing timetable, one castle full of strangers she'd probably never see again after graduation.
Instead, she somehow ends up everywhere.
In Gryffindor common rooms she technically shouldn't be in. In late-night study sessions that turn into chaos. In Quidditch arguments, secret courtyards, detention disasters, and conversations she was never supposed to overhear. Somewhere between moving staircases, enchanted noticeboards, shared classes, and the constant unpredictability of Hogwarts, Charlie slowly becomes someone everyone seems to know for completely different reasons.
Especially Draco Malfoy.
Which is unfortunate, considering their first interaction ends in an argument, their second in detention, and their third with Draco accusing her of ruining his life after an incident involving a cursed teapot and an entire hallway full of fourth-years.
Charlie quickly learns that Hogwarts runs less like a prestigious magical institution and more like complete organized chaos. Friendships shift overnight, rumors spread faster than owls, and privacy is practically nonexistent when portraits gossip more than students do. Between reckless bets from Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson knowing everyone's business, Fred and George turning half the castle into a health hazard, and Hermione Granger trying desperately to keep people academically functional, surviving sixth year becomes far more complicated than Charlie expected.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it; the snowstorms, library nights, accidental confessions, secret parties, Quidditch matches, and endless misunderstandings; Charlie finds herself getting closer and closer to the one person she never planned on liking.
Draco Malfoy, unfortunately, keeps showing up everywhere too.
