За дело берется женщина прокурор. Следуя подсказкам, которые ей оставляет преступник, она оказывается втянутой в жестокую игру с сознанием, жизнью и тайнами прошлого, обрекая себя на выбор между будоражащей страстью, здравым смыслом и чувством долга.
