After their return from the Allspark, Optimus's concern that he would cause a greater divide between the Autobots and Decepticons in the new planet resulted in him leaving Cybertron. Megatron, finding no greater purpose than bullying his weakened nemesis, goes with him, leaving the planet in the hands of the new governments led by Bumblebee and Starscream. They've been gone for a long time, their whereabouts entirely unknown. Meanwhile, their old home has gathered more and more returning cybertronians. The political atmosphere has shifted. Soundwave is back from the shadowzone per Megatron's last request. The slavers Optimus and Megatron encountered have only grown more powerful. A new and dangerous Autobot returns from the depths of space, initiating a disaster that forces Optimus and Megatron to return after years of no means of communication with their homeworld. Primus bestows the matrix of leadership to a new Prime.

The tale of two mechs on Cybertron before the Great War, one born in Iacon and the other thrown into the pits of Kaon as a sparkling. People like them were never supposed to meet, much less become best friends... so it makes sense that they were destined to become doomed lovers. Even before the great war, these two had plenty of dangerous problems to worry about as they worked to decipher Cybertron's past and gain support so they could speak to the council. Cybertron's elite will stop at nothing to stop the truth of their crimes from coming out and Cybertron's criminal underworld will stop at nothing to get the equality they have waited so long for. An everlasting conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons ends, followed by the death of their leaders. Months later, a restless Prime sparks a battle of wills with Primus and gets himself kicked out of the Allspark. When he wakes, he finds himself and Megatron revived--with a twist. They don't look like themselves, and the Autobots don't believe Optimus is really Optimus. That leaves them with only one place to turn to, and the Decepticons there are more willing to take in the former Prime than they are Megatron. This story is about Megatron and Optimus getting trapped in a cave while in search of energon. Both mechs get stuck for quite a while, leading for Megatron and Optimus to somewhat express their feelings to one another. ( This is also my first story, so I apologize if it's not great or to ur liking ) / I DON'T own any characters used in this story! I ONLY own this story /

Megatron and Optimus go head to head when dark energon bursts out of the volcano. When Optimus gets drossy form the energon and an earthquake strikes, Megatron makes his charge. The two leaders fall below the Earth's surface and are buried alive as their friends say. Optimus and Megatron are now stuck under ground with no communication to call for help. Their energon supplies are low as Optimus only had so many with him. What will happen?

Optimus and Megatron have found themselves in a life or death situation and the only way to make it out is to do it together. Also Megatron has a mental breakdown as he contemplated his feelings for the Prime. Ongoing #1 Megop 01/04/2022
