smolspudhead
A long long time ago, when the sky first burned, it wasn't just fire that fell from above-it was something far worse.
Meteors crashed into the Earth, but they weren't just rocks. Strange monsters crawled out of the wreckage-creatures from deep space that humans had never seen before. They were unstoppable and showed no mercy. Humanity couldn't fight back. Cities fell, countries disappeared, and the world we knew was gone forever.
In a desperate bid to survive, the last remnants of humanity fled to a remote island. There, they built towering walls-massive barriers of stone and steel-high enough to keep the monsters out, strong enough to protect what little life remained. Within those walls, generations were born and raised knowing only peace. The horrors of the past faded into legend, then into myth.
For hundreds of years, they believed they were safe. Untouchable.
Until the sky began to burn again.
Streaks of fire pierced the heavens-meteors, just like before.
Panic spread like wildfire. The elders whispered of the past, of destruction, of extinction. The younger ones refused to believe... until the ground trembled, and something began to rise from the impact sites.
What have the meteors brought this time?
Are the monsters stronger... smarter... deadlier?
who will rise to save them?
Or is this truly the final chapter... of humanity?
