This is a prequel of the main book but follows more on Caine's perspective since his side of the story wasn't discussed much in the main book because I was much more focusing on Pomni's consequences and mental state than her past. Also, since this is an alternate universe, the plot here doesn't align with the canon events in the series and most parts are based off the og creator's comics about them but it's entirely different what I'm writing. And another thing, this book is for the ShowTime shippers so don't get upset if there isn't any funnybunny in here but I hope most of you will read it more for the lore. Pomni has done something unforgivable. She thought no one could die in the digital circus but as she sees the haunting sight of Caine disappearing, her belief completely altered. It was her fault since she impulsively hit him with his own cane during a heated confrontation. His disappearance would cause a great expense as the circus followed to also disappear with him.
