He leaned in, his lips grazing the pulse point at my neck, his breath hot and ragged against my skin.
"Bite that lip one more time and I'll give you something much harder to swallow," he hissed, his hand moving with a terrifying, practiced speed.
"I didn't marry you to look at you, my little Viper. I'm going to fuck your insecurity until you forget your own name, until the only thing your mouth knows how to do is beg for more of me."
My breath left me in a broken heap as his fingers slid deep inside me without warning. My back arched off the sheets, my head slamming back as a wrecked moan tore through the room.
"Look at me, my Aashi," he growled, his thumb forcing my jaw open so he could watch my pupils dilate. "I want you to remember this face while you're coming apart. I want it burned into your mind so that even in your dreams, you know there isn't a single part of you I haven't claimed."
_____
Aashi Mehra, a soft, kind, yet fiercely defiant against a world that expects women to bend, break, and stay silent. She never believed in love... not after everything she had seen. And yet, somewhere deep inside, a fragile part of her still longed for something real.
Samar Singhania doesn't love. He claims.
Cold, dangerous, and feared, he isn't a man you fall for he's the kind you get trapped by. A man with secrets darker than the night and a past he never lets anyone touch. He was never meant to belong to anyone.
But when two completely different worlds collide, what begins with resistance slowly turns into something neither of them expected.
And somewhere in the shadows of their story... a tiny heartbeat exists unspoken, unknown, yet deeply tied to them both.
