When exchanging words felt to difficult and writing a letter felt to personal, vulnerable, Autumn found that expressing herself with flowers came the easiest. After all the language of flowers was dead to most. So why would she be worried about expressing her feelings to Marjorie through them when the other had no idea what it meant... expect she forgot about the three people who knew her well enough to know that every bouquet was a confession, an almost wrapped up in brown packing and paper strings. That it wasn't only the delicate red roses that could tell a story but others too.

What if Marjorie and Autumn had met in high school? Starts with some Marjoreece (IM SORRY), Marjumn endgame. And Mialotte (for Chicken, hi Chicken). For context, they're in their final year of school. Marjorie, Autumn and Charlotte are the younger half of the year, Reece and Mia are the older half (I made Reece and Autumn basically Irish twins for plot purposes) This story will deal with some pretty dark themes, and I will add trigger warnings before each chapter, but you should expect: SH (mostly mentions of it) Parental abuse (mentioned quite often, severity level varies chapter to chapter) Panic attacks Blood, bruising, etc. ED's There are probably more, I will update this accordingly!

What if Marjorie and Autumn had met at Charlotte and Mia's wedding? Autumn is happily (or so she tells herself) married with two children, and deeply religious (and very h*mophobic, as a result). Marjorie is a single, queer, photographer - who can't understand why she's so drawn to someone she knows doesn't support her lifestyle. I will do individual TW's for each chapter, but please expect the following throughout the entire fic, I won't mention them at the start of every chapter: Internalised/religious h*omophobia Forced/coercive relationship Spousal and parental figure abuse Controlling/coercive parent Mentions of and allusions to sexual assault
