The Noble House of Black is well-known across the entire wizarding world. Being one of the "Sacred Twenty-Eight", the Noble House of Black has prided itself on its beliefs and practices. However, despite such claims, there is one name, that the ancient wizarding family has tried, time and time again to get rid of, but never truly could...
Regulus Arcturus Black II...
Unlike the rest of his family, Regulus Black never believed in the same ideals his family did, nor did he agree with their bigotry towards Muggle-borns, wizards or witches who had non-magical parents. He felt that their old fashioned ways were outdated and sterile, robbing the magical world of any sense of unity, and depriving the wizarding community, of the one thing that made life so special and worth exploring...change.
To Regulus, change was a natural and necessary process, which brought forth truly amazing things, such as adaptation, evolution, and anything else that could be considered new. In his eyes, his family, and the rest of the pureblood families, were hindering the Magical World's growth and development, all because of their stupid, ridiculous ideals...
Most, say it was Regulus' desire to change his fate and alter his destiny as a second son of an elitist pureblood family, that drove him to become what he did, but there are those...who say different. What they say, focuses less on his early life, and more on what happened between 1926, and 1932, when Regulus Arcturus Black II, went against his own kind, and sided with his long time friend and close companion...Newt Scammander...
However, to be able to REALLY understand what happened, we must go back to the beginning of it all, when life seemed simpler, and the stakes were not as high as they turned out to be...
And it all starts...on a transatlantic ocean liner, which was bound...
For New York City...
