{inspired by the writing of Scott Westerfeld in his Leviathan series} Deryn Sharp and the Former Prince Aleksander of Hohenberg have set off to London, in order to join the secretive service of Dr. Nora Barlow. And as the war rages on between the Clankers and Darwinists, we come to see just how involved our hero and heroine, were involved in the secret side of the victories the allied powers achieved. This is an epilogue of lengthy proportions, as we see the lives of Alek and Deryn as they grow together in the shadows of one of the most significant wars of the century.

A continued story of the laviathan series...

~This is fanfiction based off of The Leviathan Trilogy by Scott Westerfield,I do not own any of the characters within.~ The Leviathan is docked in neutral Switzerland for a few days,restocking and refueling for the journey home. Dr.Barlow,the British boffin has spoken to her friend who lives in Switzerland and sends Alek and Deryn into the winter cold in order to receive her secret package from her friend. Troubles however arise after the two stop at a small shop and moments after they leave,the store is thrown into flames and the shopkeeper is murdered. And it is all done by a German walker. In order to stop the walker from further destruction,she hurls a rock at the machine,which turns it on her. Soon hidden behind a building from the machine,she believes she's speaking her last words. But out of no where a large,two legged walker appears and attacks the four legged walker,disabling it. However Deryn comes out of hiding and she knows Alek is piloting the two legged a walker,she is shot by the four legged walker. With loosing blood and the cold,Deryn is brought to near death before she makes it back onto the ship. And due to the injury,she has no choice but to tell Alek who she really is.
