"You seem to be really intelligent," she said, running her fingers over the spine of my book. "More than you, I guess," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant. "Then you must know the meaning of every word," she said. "Not every word, but most of them," I replied. "Do you know what manhoos (cursed) means?" she asked. "Cursed," I repeated. "Where have you heard it?" I asked, curious-or maybe more concerned. "My Dadi Ammi says I'm manhoos," she continued. Her eyes lost the sparkle they had a moment ago. I was left speechless for a moment, wondering why a grandmother would say such a harsh word. "It seems like you don't know either," she said, her voice laced with disappointment. I stared at her face, and before I knew it, I blurted out, "Beautiful." "Cursed means beautiful," I added hastily. 🌟🌟 Alizey Haider: A girl labeled as cursed, unfortunate, and unlucky by the world- believes she isn't worthy of love. Shehryar Sultan: A boy who considers her as his entire world and loves her like breathing. A LOVE STORY THAT YOU CANT RESIST ✨️ Bitter Brownies by @author_lizz09

~COMPLETE~ "You were supposed to be a side effect of the drugs." "I'm not a hallucination." "You are a pipe dream." A/N: After two weeks of unhealthy obsession, I've decided to write a fanfic for the first time in my life. This is The King's Men by Nora Sakavic (third installment of the All For the Game trilogy) but from Andrew's point of view instead of Neil's. I'm using the novel and Nora's extra tumblr content to try and be as realistic as possible. Can't guarantee I won't stray a bit, though. I've also taken a couple cues from naj10ajm03 on Archive. Obviously, if you haven't read all three of the books, this won't make any sense. But I hope you like it! All rights to the characters and stuff go to Nora Sakavic.

#3 in India (10/10/23) ••• "Listen to me, Do not expect anything from me or this marriage. I only married you because of my baba." His every word pierced through her soul. He didn't wait for her reply, he wasn't expecting any reply from her, she never opens her mouth in front of him. Hayder stood up and was about to go to washroom to change. "I married you because of my mother, otherwise you can never be my ideal choice" Hyra's words made him stop on his track. Turning to her, he saw her standing beside the bed, looking at him with challenging eyes. Her words irked him, going to her, he held her arm tightly in his hand. "Don't you dare to talk back to me otherwise I will cut your tongue." He warned her in a low, dangerous tone. "Ouch!" A soft whimper left her mouth, she tried to free her arm from him. Her eyes brimmed with tears. He was holding her arm very tightly, it might leave bruise later. He left her arm. "One more thing, whatever happened in this room should stay in this room. If you complain to anyone about anything, you will see the worst side of mine." Before leaving, he told her. "You can not be anymore worst." Hyra mumbles to herself, wiping her tears. •••

The love and freedom they both deprived of. A love story that never got written the way it could've. Miran Hamidi was twelve when his father sent him away. He was too angry to settle down and too stubborn to live under the same roof. . Aayat grew up in the same house, but they never really knew each other. He was the absent cousin who never looked her way. Their paths only crossed during Eid greetings and polite nods. They didn't have a connection. There was no warmth or hatred, just a distant respect rooted in tradition. Five years after his return, the silence changed. It started small-a cold glance, a sharp word, misunderstood gestures. What had been indifference slowly turned into tension and discomfort. ____________________ Aayat - "Miran bhai... main-main ne sirf ek class bunk ki thi." Miran : "Tumne sirf ek class bunk ki thi... aur izzat ka kafan bhi utar diya saath mein?" _____________________ Miran: "Scene mukammal hai. Ab agar koi taali baja de toh drama bhi khatam ho. Aayat : "Sir dard ho raha tha. Woh bas-" Miran:"Sir ya jism ka? Saaf bata do, aaj toh tum dono tayyar dikh rahe ho." ______________________ But love doesn't come from names on a nikahnama. And hatred doesn't need to be loud to exist. A story of missed timings, a woman who craved dignity and patriarchal man who only controls. This isn't a love story. It's the slow unraveling of two strangers forced into closeness, under the same roof, under the same name.
