Tris has just finished her initiation. She's having a hard time getting used to all the dauntless. But mostly, having a hard time in her new relationship. She has her fears. And not just THAT one. Of losing Tobias. Of him; of the fact that he has complete control of her feelings. She's falling hard... And so is he. He has his insecurities. However, how does he react to those insecurities with other people? Rage.

Tris is the new girl and Four is the schools bad boy. He's probably slept with every girl at Divergent High, she's a virgin good-girl. She's never been in a relationship, or even wanted to be in one. When Four and Tris meet...they hate each other. He hates her, she hates him. Its that simple. But something happens.

Tris is trying to get comfortable in this new relationship. Its all new to her and Tobias. She knows she liked him more than she probably should; that he needs so much more than some small abnegation transfer. Tobias loves the ground Tris walks on; would do anything to protect her and make her happy. He has his baggage, and he carries it with him on his back. They think they don't deserve each other but oh how they need each other. (Al is alive, parents can see their child if they make it through initiation, and there was no war!!)

Tris wakes up in a destroyed, abandoned city with only one memory. And that memory is of a man named Tobias. Desperate for answers, she sets out to find him, though she finds that the crumbling world around her may prove that task to be difficult. Alliances are formed. Choices are made. War breaks out, and Chicago is heavily involved. Tobias must balance leading a city, commanding an army, and getting his wife back. Tris faces many obstacles and hazards along the way as well, but she pushes through, determined to find her way back to him.
