(Revised Story) Rin is neither human nor demon, he fits in nowhere. His so called "friends" make that known often, and his own brother has turned his back on him. With no one to talk to, Rin turns to self destructive behaviors in order to get through everyday life. However, will a routine mission make it all crumble apart?

Sprouting Seeds of Courage is a teenage superhero story that has themes of courage, love, pain, adolescence, gender roles, blooming into something new and the complexity of human beings. It follows Casey Traver and Kurao Busujima, two sophomores at Sunny Fields High School. Casey and Kurao are polar opposites but they both have similar journeys and growth and finding their true selves. Casey is a sweet and soft spoken girl who loves gardening. She is kind but she has some pushover tendencies that can create potential issues. Kurao is the school's most hated and feared boy. He is violent, mean, aggressive and pushes anybody away who tries to befriend him. Their lives seem relatively mundane until they both discover magical relics that give them superpowers. Their discovery leads to alter egos, way more responsibilities to juggle, finding different sides to themselves and finding the impact their lives may carry on the world. Volume 1 is more centered around Casey and it serves as an introduction to the main characters/plot. It is more cozy, light-hearted, funny and has some slice of life chapters.

Rin Okumura has always felt like an outcast, as a kid up to today. He is half human, half demon, his father satan. He is learning to be an exorcist as to avenge his adoptive fathers death. He goes about his everyday duties mindlessly but what will happen when a mission changes his point of view and makes him question what is right and wrong?
