Kendall K Vertes attends Franklin Regional High with all her old friends- old being the key word here. They've moved on from Kendall, leaving her in a group where she doesn't really fit. Then the day came when Maddie and Paige recruited Kendall, for their small, but select, group of popular girls. Kendall could never beat them, but you know what they say- if you can't beat them, join them.

When a close family friend of Kendall's father moves into the Vertes' guest house, Kendall is stuck with a new annoyingly arrogant neighbor for company. But when light is shed on Kendall's past, perhaps it's time to turn away.
