This story is about Richie and Eddie's love when they were 12-13 years old, before, during and after the events of the first IT movie.

After defeating pennywise, the losers spend what little of the summer they have left living life to the fullest. Eddies been bunking with Richie since he confronted his mother about his bullshit pills, Richies been trying to figure himself out with Bev's help, and Bens been teaching Bill and Mike how to play Dungeons and Dragons. And each night, no matter what the weather or fight, the gang breaks into the old public pool on the side of town to just sit, joke, play games, and get high. Everyone's the happiest they've ever been, well, that is until Mike explains how to play the King's Game.
