My eyes flashed to his chest briefly, but unfortunately not briefly enough. Thank God for giving the six-foot-something manchild with daddy issues a six-pack and dimples. A grin tugged at Seb's lips as he moved closer. "You have to be crazy, or else you were serious about the four grand." "I was," he said. "I have a proposition." I laughed once. "No." "No? It's four grand, hear me out?" I didn't reply. I just looked at him. Sebastian King continued anyway. "You pretend to date me this summer, I pay you four thousand dollars cash." ── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ── 𝙳𝙴𝚂𝙲𝚁𝙸𝙿𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽: Liana Burke takes a summer counsellor job at Camp Kingatoa because UBC is expensive and being poor doesn't come with a grace period. A collection of short stories based on my very vivid dreams and nightmares that overly attached itself to my waking moments giving me enough time to write it down and make a whole plot out of it, crafted to make it make sense and sometimes combining 2 dreams from nonconsecutive days to make it more interesting. TLDR: I unconsciously witnessed cosmic transcendence and now I make stories inspired out of it and showcase my capabilities in writing different styles. CURRENT CONTENT: Dystopian with a bit of steampunk and zombies with lots of surviving and escaping.

🏆x3 Awards! ✨️Second Place for Best Cover in the Cassiopeia Mini Awards. Proud to say What Was Held made the short list in The Original Muse Awards! I'm Liliah. Sixteen, almost seventeen. I hate being me. Why? Ten reasons: 1. I'm stuck in Muxleigh - a suffocating seaside town. 2. My mum only cares when it affects her. 3. My step-dad runs our house on fear. 4. I'm failing the person I love most: my six-year-old sister, Forsythia. 5. I don't know who I am... or why I'm here. 6. I attacked the worst boy in town - now I'm hated, and he's still worshipped. 7. My vice? It's leaving scars. 8. My mental health? Apparently I belong in a psych ward. 9. Bexmoore was meant to be a fresh start. It wasn't. 10. I had two chances at something real... and I ruined them both. I'm at breaking point. Hiding in the dirt, literally, I'm not joking. What I hate the most? How alone I feel. Maybe telling my story means someone else won't feel like this. Before it's too late.

A world where croaky voices, loud sneezing, and loose change falling out of pockets are considered laughable is not a man's world. But here we are. In this world, men undergo voice breaking once a month for several days due to a cyclical decline in testosterone levels. The associated prejudices have meant that men rarely pursue public professions, with less than 20% of politicians, business leaders, or television presenters being male. Beau wants to change that. His confidence grows when he is hired as a staff member on a presidential campaign that has the historic goal of bringing the first man into the highest office. A small step for Beau, a giant leap for mankind. Little does he know that his presence will ruin everything. PROMPT: Self-love often starts small, like planting a single seed. With time, patience and a bit of light, it will blossom.

Hi, my name is Mira and I'm entering a new phase in life. I wish it was as smooth as it sounds. I wish it was, hmm just so normal. And then there was that book. A dusty, untitled thing. As a newly heartbroken girl, I just wanted a distraction, something I could get lost in and daydream about(I almost did, until that deflecting idiot). But it messed with my head so much over time, that I can't possibly explain but I can definitely show it. What I realized is that some stories aren't just stories... maybe they're just someone else's stage entirely. PS: The author is so cruel to make me go through it all, painfully slow. A/N: This story is intended for audiences(18+). Some chapters contain strong language, alcohol use, references to self harm and mental health, sexual content and suggestive themes. Reader Discretion Advised.
