Kazuki Mikadono has been performing since before she could spell "method acting" but she's never once needed a rehearsal to know when a scene wasn't scripted anymore. The problem is proving it, to herself, before her tongue does it for her in front of the entire breakfast table. Yuu just wanted to help his housemate run lines for an audition. He didn't sign up to become an accidental co-star in her actual love life, tracked in real time by two sisters with a shared spreadsheet, a strategy whiteboard, and zero respect for personal space. Every rehearsal blurs the line a little further until neither of them can tell where the character ends and the confession begins. And once the internet decides their "chemistry" is real, the two of them are the last ones left pretending it isn't. Some scripts write themselves. This one just needed two people brave enough to go off it.
