The forest is all Mark knows. Everyday, he hunts for food, collects water from the stream, and returns to his cabin if the creatures come out. He wishes for something more than the same trees, the same, river, the same bed. Everything is about to change. One day, a girl about his age shows up at the cabin. She seems normal to Mark except for one thing; She keeps screaming;"They're coming!" Mark must choose between leaving everything he knows behind, or staying to face certain death.
