The circus died with him. Christine (Pomni) went home first. Sprinted out of the building where everyone was spit out so fast she didn't see anyone's real face. When she knocks on the door, her mother breaks down in tears and pulled her into a hug. She had been missing for nine months. Nine months of questions she doesn't know how to answer. She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom's boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear. In fact, they grow deeper... Most of it will have no major storyline and will be like a little slice-of-life book. Jax and Pomni had a building friendship, things were going great. But then one little hug ruined everything. What had happened in Jax's past to make him so incredibly resistant to any kind of companionship? Whatever it was, it still haunts him to this day. Even coming back as hallucinations. But then what happens when the real version of the hallucination comes back into his life? A slow burn romance between Jax, Pomni, and Ribbit. Filled with angst, psychological horror, self-deprecation, eventual self-acceptance, and a horrible glitch slowly spreading throughout the circus. Starts during the end of episode 6.

Jax and Ragatha keep fighting over Pomni. It's getting old. The good news? They finally learn how to share. A short FunnyBunnyDoll story featuring jealousy, flirting, questionable decision-making, and mature themes.

"Look, I get that you're trying to forget about this, but that's probably the worst that you can do." Jax scowled at Pomni, "What do you know?" He paused, getting up and walking forwards slightly, "You know nothing about me. You know nothing about this place you just got here." "I know that, but-" Jax looked at the jester, his pupils small only to frighten Pomni.
