Forced to watch as people died at the hands of vampires, and hiding behind a wall waiting for death, she decides to take matters into her own hands and find a way to destroy the vampires that had been plaguing Copper Nine for centuries. However, things start to take a turn after a close encounter with a vampire that changes everything she knew. N just wanted to be useful to his small clan. Being a clumsy vampire, he tries his hardest, yet it's never enough. He wonders if he'll ever be good enough for anything and prove his worth at being a vampire, but when one of his prey escapes, he starts to take an interest in her that slowly grows as the nights pass and memories he'd forgotten come to surface.
