Jennie walks in on her wife talk about the true meaning of treasure. Another short story that I found in my drafts. Once again, I'm using my OC and it ties into the Idol universe from the other one-shots, but it's based in the future. No mature content, just fluff.

I had always wondered how people knew they found their true love. My life was boring and dull and I craved for some excitement. An excitement that only she could give. Dressed in Calvin Klein underwear and a sports bra, we locked eyes. And it was then I knew she was my destined partner. Who knew she would make me show my dark side? *g!p *gxg

In a world where weddings are but another business transaction, Jennie Kim - the sole heir of her mother's conglomerate - would be remiss, if she acted unreasonably at the notion. Duty is but a lonely road, and she had long been resigned to accept the weight of her name - had she not been wedded off to such a preposterous individual, that went by the name Y/n Morningstar. What's more, it would have been infinitely more bearable, if said individual hadn't been so insufferable at the prospect of it - asymmetrical grins, annoying remarks, and that goddamn accent. Or a forced proximity, arrange marriage, enemies to lovers trope with all of that cliché goodness. :))

Why is the measure of love, loss? It seems that, between an up and coming producer and Korea's It girl, their life was riddled with gaping holes in the shape of each other. And how do you move on from it, really? How do you pick up the pieces when you've already assimilated with the wreckage? Jennie doesn't know. But she knows that loving Y/n is the same thing as tossing the keys of her heart to a valet without a driver's license; she's bound to end up off a cliff.
