Since she wanted them gone, and Tessa was happy about this too, since her friends were going to a good home and doing something good. The jobs were simple. Protect and care for you, but you had a condition that made this job very difficult for most. Xenophobia. An intense fear of strangers.

Y/n is a part of the squad with N, V, and J and considered the newer member of the squad, but still a welcomed one. Y/n is considered the more chill and "lazy" member of the squad and prefers to go star gazing, have casual conversations with his coworker, and all in all, just lay around doing nothing, but the worker drones would think otherwise as they see how ruthless he is when he is on the hunt. Still, the more time he spends with the group, the harder it becomes to stay detached from everything happening around him. What starts as a messy alliance slowly turns into something else entirely as hidden information about Copper 9 begins surfacing. Old experiments, corrupted memories, abandoned facilities - things that probably should've stayed buried. And while everyone is trying to figure out what they want, what they fear, or what they're willing to protect, [Y/N] starts realizing that some attachments are a lot harder to control than they should be.
