It was her fault since she impulsively hit him with his own cane during a heated confrontation. His disappearance would cause a great expense as the circus followed to also disappear with him. The replacement code AU shows a story where Pomni offs Caine and reluctantly fuses with him as a last resort to save everyone within the circus from totally disappearing.
