Some people wait for the sun after the rain.
Yeon Si-eun only waits for the rain.
Living alone in a silent house, Si-eun has long shut himself away from the world. His days blur together beneath gray skies, spent staring out his bedroom window as rain trickles down the glass. Every passing day chips away at his will to live, and the thought of disappearing feels less frightening than waking up to another lonely morning.
Until one rainy afternoon, he notices a boy.
While everyone else runs for shelter, Ahn Suho does the opposite. With an easy smile and endless energy, he jogs through every storm as though the rain itself gives him life. Their first meeting is brief and awkward, but Suho's relentless kindness slowly begins to disturb the quiet walls Si-eun has built around his heart.
What starts as silent glances through a rain-speckled window gradually becomes shared walks, warm drinks, quiet conversations, and a friendship that neither of them expected. For the first time in years, Si-eun begins to wonder if there is still something worth staying alive for. He starts counting rainy days not because he loves the weather, but because they always bring Suho back to him.
But even the brightest smiles can hide the darkest storms.
As Si-eun grows closer to Suho, he begins to notice the cracks beneath his cheerful facade-unexplained bruises, lingering exhaustion, and a sadness that never quite reaches his eyes. The boy who seemed to love the rain may not be running toward happiness at all, but away from something far more painful.
