Ryland Grace has spent the last 5 years on Erid when a spaceship crash lands. Eridians gather around to see inside and notice a human-like creature, like Grace. Except, this isn't a normal human. Senita, hailing from planet Brindley, lost in space finds herself on Erid among rock-like creatures and one human man. Ryland and Senita, both loners in their own way, find friendship, adventure and something deeper as they journey back to Earth, only to discover Ryland wasn't placed on the Hail Mary by chance ... and that Senita may know far more about Earth's fate and her connection to it than she is letting on....
