This is a short story I made mostly just so yall had something to read while i'm working on a bigger book. i honestly love this little book a lot, and i did in fact cry while writing the last chapter lol. i'm not going to say what this book is about, but i will put some content warnings. Seungmin lost his father at a young age, grief strangling him ever since. This was his first year at college, music major. He used to sing and play the piano, but ever since the accident, he hadn't ever listened to music willingly, the memories too darkening. His new dorm mate Hyunjin is like a ray of sunshine. He's happy, he paints, but after seeing Seungmin be the way he is, Hyunjin lets down his walls and shares his story. They soon start getting closer, seeing each other vulnerable a lot. They start having late night music sessions playing their instruments together. Seungmin doesn't know what it feels like to love someone-romantically that is. But this... this might be it. Jisung is not a happy person.
