The LAPD is handling a covert operation on a cruise ship sailing from LA to Miami. Lucy Chen and Celina Juarez are selected for the mission, posing as passengers, while Tim Bradford and Miles Penn go undercover as crew members. The story is set sometime during Season 7; Lucy and Tim have broken up but both know their feelings haven't vanished-Tim is working hard on himself, and Lucy has signed up for the sergeant's exam.

The story takes place sometime during Season 5. Tim is no longer with Ashley, and Lucy is with Chris, though things aren't working out the way she'd like.
