Welcome to all things Tales of Feathers and Flora. Story information, reference material, fun extras―this is your hub for questions, answers, and random related nonsense. What was supposed to be a simple fanfiction has taken on a life of its own, and I've had to create a reference document to keep all the details straight. This book will contain that information in what will hopefully be a reader-friendly format. For those who've enjoyed "A Dove's Tale" and "A Beast's Tale," I offer you this to peruse. Enjoy my insanity! Also... spoiler alert. I will attempt to label spoilers clearly, but read at your own risk.

| | Ambys 2025 Favorite | | All Ivetta wants is a steady paycheck and consistent hours. Her mother's health is failing fast, and she has to earn enough money to keep paying the mounting doctor's bills. Getting a job as a palace maid seems like the answer she needs, even if she has a long commute. Prince Chevalier, the Second Prince of Rhodolite, has a reputation for being a cruel, heartless monster. This is the man Ivetta now works for, and if it weren't for her circumstances, she would have quit after the first day. She never expects him to come to her rescue when disaster strikes. Suddenly, he's the only person with whom she truly feels safe, allowing the roots of an unlikely and impossible romance to take hold. Threats force them closer together, and the mysteries of the past come to bear. A glimmer of hope for a brighter future blossoms in the darkness. Maybe, on the other side of pain and heartbreak, is the fairytale ending Ivetta never dreamed was possible. ***** Estimated reading times: Act 1: The Maid (14 hours, 44 minutes) Act 2: The Intermission (4 hours, 53 minutes) Act 3: The Princess (11 hours, 57 minutes) Act 4: The Queen (7 hours, 29 minutes)

Cold, cruel, calculating. These are the words that best describe Chevalier Michel, the second prince of Rhodolite. A genius and a master swordsman, he has well and truly earned the monikers the Brutal Beast and the Bloody Tiger, and he's worked his whole life toward the singular goal of claiming the throne. He has no time or patience for anyone or anything that stands in his way, and he certainly never gives any thought to something so foolish as emotions. Few question him. All fear him. Except for his new maid.

To say that the last month has been eventful would be an understatement. Chevalier Michel is accustomed to complex political problems, and he has that side of matters well in hand, of course. But in a personal sense, he was almost too late. He almost lost Ivetta, the maid who turned his world upside-down and found a place in his heart. He won't allow that to happen again. There can be no more mistakes. He's staying with her throughout her long recovery, even if that means abandoning the competition for Rhodolite's throne and traveling to Obsidian for her medical treatment. She isn't a maid anymore. She's a princess-his princess-and he won't hand her over to his long-time best friend and rival without a fight. The Brutal Beast and the Conqueror Beast are in direct competition for the first time. Two unbeatable generals. Two geniuses. One misstep, and their personal dispute will ignite a war. That's assuming Ivetta keeps quiet and lets them decide her future. But when has she ever done that?
