Being stranded on a deserted island? Bad. Being stranded with Maurice, my sworn enemy? Even worse. As Simon's twin sister, you met some of the choir boys. Most of them were nice, but there was one brunette boy you always seemed to clash with. "There's a fine line between love and hate, yn." Simon told me, sitting on a log while we ate mangos. "Well, for me the line is huge, and I know I hate Maurice." We are like ice and flame. Storm and calm. We are sworn enemies, and it will stay that way. But I am slightly tired of saying my cheeks are just red with anger when he teases me.

Paradise was never meant to burn. When a plane carrying an English boys' choir, students from a nearby boys' school, and a girls' competitive dance team crashes onto an isolated island, the survivors believe rescue is only a matter of time. At first, they build shelters, gather food, and cling to the rules that once defined them. But hunger, fear, and the promise of power spread faster than the signal fire ever could. As rival leaders emerge, loyalties splinter, friendships crumble, and innocence is swallowed by violence. The island becomes more than a place to survive.. it becomes a mirror, revealing the darkest parts of everyone stranded there. Some fight to protect their humanity. Others embrace the chaos. With each passing day, the line between civilization and savagery fades, leaving scars that no rescue can erase. How long can paradise survive before it turns to ashes? A Lord of the Flies fanfiction featuring original characters, alternate dynamics, slow-burn relationships, and a darker exploration of fear, grief, and survival. ────୨ৎ──── ⚠️ Content Warnings This story contains mature and potentially distressing themes, including: • Graphic violence and murder • Psychological horror and psychological abuse • Physical assault and abuse • Bullying and harassment • Trauma, grief, and loss • Death of major and minor characters • Suicidal thoughts, suicide, and self-destructive behavior • Underage alcohol and substance use • Blood, injuries, and gore • Manipulation, intimidation, and coercion • Panic attacks, anxiety, and emotional distress • Themes of isolation, starvation, and survival • Mild romantic themes and implied LGBTQ+ themes • Cannibalism. The conch was meant to keep them civilized. It was meant to give them a voice. When a group of schoolchildren are stranded on a deserted island, the rules they once knew begin to disappear. Friendships are tested, innocence is lost, and the line between civilization and savagery becomes thinner than anyone imagined. Among them are the choir children, the boys and girls who once stood together in perfect uniforms, singing in harmony. But the island changes them all. For Lydia, a girl who once found her voice through music, survival means losing the very thing that made her who she was. For Maurice, it means facing the person he became and the choices he made. Years after the rescue, the survivors must discover whether they can truly leave the island behind or if they will carry it with them forever. Beyond the conch lies the truth of what they became.

When twelve-year-old Eleanor "Ellie" Hart boards an evacuation flight during the war, she never imagines it will end in disaster. Hidden in a separate section of the aircraft, Ellie survives the crash-but the other survivors have no idea a girl is stranded on the island with them. Before the flight, her father, Captain William Hart, a respected Royal Air Force pilot, made her one promise: "No matter what happens, I'll find you." Ellie clings to those words, unaware that her father never survived the crash. As she struggles to survive alone, Ellie eventually crosses paths with a group of boys trying to build a new society. Among them is Jack, fierce, determined, and intimidating. Their first meeting is anything but friendly, but as the island changes them all, an unexpected bond begins to grow. Caught between Ralph's hope for civilization and Jack's hunger for power, Ellie must decide where she belongs while holding onto the values her father taught her. On an island ruled by fear, survival isn't the only battle-guarding your heart may be the hardest one of all. A Lord of the Flies fanfiction exploring survival, loyalty, first love, and the promise of a father who never stopped trying to protect his daughter-even after he was gone.

' Marina, please. Stay with me. ' ' I can't make any promises, Merridew, but just please don't do this to me. ' ------------------------ 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐀 Whitmore (16) had spent nearly her whole life at the seaside. She had practically grew up knowing the feeling of hot sand on her bare feet, the taste of the ocean water and the intense feeling of the sun beating down on her. That was, until her father passed away, where her mother decided it was best to move away from the ocean, as it reminded her too much of her late husband. The sudden change in environment allowed Marina to introduce herself to different hobbies, one of which were ice skating. Perhaps it is not really a hobby, since it took up most of Marina's time - but she still took a liking to it. However, just as always, all good things must come to an end - or a pause. A harsh accident involving the blade of her skate and her exposed ankle caused Marina to end up with a broken ankle. Although her mother advised against it, Marina pushed to get rehabilitation in a facility in London, wanting her ankle to heal quicker. Her mother gave in, but was this truly going to be the right decision? ------------------------ DISCONTINUED FOR A WHILE !!! ------------------------ any characters from the lord of the flies franchise are not mine - all credibility and ownership to those characters go to the creators of lord of the flies. any face claims used in this story are purely for reference about how the said character is represented/looks. + all the older characters are going to be around 3-4 years older. ------------------------ rankings: #1 in conch #38in jack (out of 1000+ other stories) #2 in merridew
