They were supposed to be partners. They were never supposed to fall. They meet as sergeants from opposite ends of the LAPD-two leaders, two reputations, and zero patience for each other. When an undercover operation requires them to pose as a couple, neither is thrilled. Tim Bradford thinks Lucy Chen is too soft; Lucy thinks Tim is all walls and no heart.

She knows better than to let him touch her. But behind closed doors, better doesn't matter. It's the way he pulls her close like she already belongs there. The way her breath breaks when his mouth finds her skin. The way she forgets her own name when he says it low enough. No one sees what happens in the dark. And she'd rather die than admit how much she needs it.

We're all anticipating what Episode 6 of Season 7 will be like, and how Chenford will interact with each other, so I've decided to write my own version of the episode, mostly chenford centred, as if I had creative control over the show (lol).
