Given the chance to return to Regona, Sahara takes it. Times, however, have changed. Lithium City has stumbled across Regona and has taken it upon itself to restore the fallen to its former glory. The crews in Regona aren't quite on board. Mysterious disappearances are followed by a threat of a rebellion from the hoverboarders. Book two starts five months after the end of the first one; with Alexander struggling to return to his squadron, and Angela fighting to survive on the front lines without his amazing skills or powerful presence. With the affects of the Eden program plaguing his every living moment, a broken and battered Alexander finds that in order to return to his friends and fight against the alien abominations that have stolen nearly everything from him, he must first survive the most intense and gruelling training the American Military has to offer. He must make it through Marine Corps Boot Camp, a training program designed to destroy young men and women, and then build them back up into one of the most elite fighting forces in the world. His second in command, Angela, however, finds herself stuck out on the front lines with the other members of the squadron as she is now forced to somehow take his place as the Squadron Commander of a tired, and depressed outfit that is down two members. Yet, with the U.N.E. threat pushing against NATO forces and threatening to invade Germany, she and her friends must fight on and give Alexander time to return.

A lawless city controlled by teenaged hoverboard crews, a bad boy addicted to strawberry milk and a group of misfits who band together to conquer an area formally known as unconquerable. These are just a few of the discombobulating situations Sahara faces when she's accidentally transported to a world not her own. While this shy teenager would rather curl up with a book, she finds herself with no choice but to lead a hoverboarding crew of her own and aim for the top. Failure is not an option. That is if she ever wants to find a way to return home.
