A hand shot out of nowhere, dragging her into a room. Meerah opened her mouth to scream, before that familiar scent hit her.
Meesam.
Her mouth snapped shut, and she turned to glare at him.
"Meesam," she hissed.
"Yes, darling," he drawled, tilting her head even higher up.
"What the heck is wrong with you?" she asked.
Meesam smirked, "Am I not allowed to look at my wife to be?"
"Oh yeah? But I'm marrying Wali, right?" Meerah feigned confusion.
Meesam's eyes darkened, he pulled her impossibly closer, his breath fanning across his face. Something dangerous flashed in his eyes, something Meerah knew would be the end of her if he let it, before he snapped it back, restraint firmly in place again, dropping his head by her ear.
"If we were married, dear wife to be, then I would have showed you what it means to have my heart. Unfortunately we are not, so I'll leave this little show, unfinished... until we are."
Meerah could't resist pushing him further, knowing the dangers.
"Well then, looks like I'll never see that special show then, because Dada jaan is shipping me off."
"Meerah," Meesam warned, though his mouth twitched, betraying his amusement.
Meerah gave him a faux smile, "Don't worry, jaan, I'll find someone for you to marry."
Meesam grabbed her, pining her arms to her sides, "My only duhlan is, and will ever be, is you."
