After being chased through darkness, George soon finds himself amongst an (literally) underground society that despises the reign more than anything. Keeping his real identity hidden and pretending to be just another nobody, he's introduced to a world that's vastly different from his former life in the kingdom. Secrets are revealed and he's shown a completely new side to life that makes him question everything he's ever known. George's new situation is in his eyes close to perfection. Finally, he's found the place where he was always meant to be. But there's one problem, or rather a person, that refuses to accept George as a new member no matter how hard he tries. And how long can a runaway prince pretend to be something he's not before the truth is exposed? (FYI: I do not ship these people IRL and the story will be removed if anyone mentioned expresses discomfort.) As attractive as he is, his personality is surely something else. Socially backwards, and with a mind that's twisted - is this really him? Who is he? Who is King George William Frederick III? Maybe he isn't what he really seems? But would anybody believe him? The most popular general of the American Revolution - who coincidentally has the same name as him - is a charming man himself. Kind and strict, pretty amiable. Maybe he would listen, maybe he would not? But they do seem to have one thing in common, loneliness. Hamilton belongs to Lin-Manuel Miranda. This was also inspired by another Georgesquared fanfiction here on Wattpad. So, if it sounds similar as another fanficiton you may have read, then that's the answer to that. This is also my very first one, so some feedback would be nice :)
