"But I'm better at guns then you!" Darius stopped cleaning. "You are not 'better at guns' then I am." "But I am! And plus, you're always driving! I need a gun to protect myself!" I needed a reason to yell at him right then. That seemed like a pretty good reason. "My job is to protect you, Noelle. Giving you a lethal weapon is not protecting you." Darius set the magazine of the gun down on his bed. "There's a difference between protecting and sheltering!" I slowed down my speech. I wanted him to respect me, not just let me have a gun because I whined too much. "Giving me a gun is making sure I can take care of myself. Not just babysitting me." "I don't babysit you. You just don't seem like the kind of person who could handle a gun very well. I don't want you hurting yourself." I could see in Darius's eyes that he meant every word he said. It was insulting. It was humiliating. But it would be so easy to prove him wrong. * * * Updates Mondays and Fridays! ;)

Alena Langley has always believed that life in another planet exists. But what she didn't expect was that an alien would visit her anytime soon. On a bright starry night while Alena was looking at the constellations, something big fell from the sky. It turned out to be a spaceship, opening in front of her, revealing a pale girl about her age, the latters skin glowing radiantly, beautifully in the dark. As Alena gazed into the gorgeous girls eyes that reflected the sun with its orange color, she knew in her heart that life would never be the same again.

In their lives, everyone has their own form of drama. Some people get it from encounters in life, some from books or movies, and a few, like me, who live on the very outskirt of all this drama and tell the stories. The stories I tell are of Amanda, a girl in the grade above me. Her life is so interesting, but sometimes I wish the stories I tell were about me.

I curled under the jungle gym and cried my eyes out. Suddenly a shadow hovered over me. I looked up saw a boy about my age staring at me with a Unknown expression. He bent down and wiped away my tears with the pad of his thumbs. I immediately stopped crying and looked into his bright Emerald eyes. "Why are you crying?" He asked and I looked down. "Because I know that'll never make friends here" I said quietly. He was quiet for a minute before finally speaking up. "I'll be your friend" he said quietly while looking into my eyes. I smiled a toothy grin. "Really!?" I asked and he nodded his head. "You'll be mine" ~~~~ Ranked # 2 in Werewolf on 7/13/17 Beautiful cover made by: kaori_nakahodo STARTED: JUNE 28, 2015 FINISHED: AUGUST 22, 2016 EDITING: ON GOING

I was sure the worst thing to ever happen to me would be being kidnapped, and sure, that was pretty bad. However, what was worse was being kidnapped, held captive for years, and then being auctioned off to the highest bidder. I thought maybe I had caught a little break when I found out that me and five other girls were being sold to royalty, but I should have known something about that wasn't right either. Under the cover of eternal darkness, and deep beneath the ground, was a whole world I never even dreamed existed in my wildest dreams. It was a world that promised to be more than anything I could imagine. The people who bought us told us we would have the luxurious life of a princess, but there were only two catches... 1. We would be competing against each other for the affection of the Prince who would change our whole lives by picking one of us to rule at his side. 2. That prince just happened to be a vampire.

***GirlXGirl Romance*** Living in New York you learn to keep up with the quick pace of the city, myself included. I was never the one to stop and smell the roses, but that was until I met her on that dull September afternoon. Her eyes were light and dark at the same time, as if a devil and an angel lived inside of her. Time itself had stopped, and since that day everything had changed, ever since I had crossed paths with Drew Wilder.
