He's never loved anyone except for his own brother. People were most likely the same to him. They come and go, which was nothing really exciting. That is, until an Italian boy named Veniziano, also known as the personification of Italy, comes into his life and stays by his side, when saved by Ludwig from his fellow perverted German soldiers.
