Quinn Nymphadora Weasley was far from shy. Growing up an only child, having lost her mother at an early age and having been raised by her dragon training, wizard father she screamed out for attention whenever she knew she wanted it. Being the eldest Weasley cousin, born in 1997, the same year as her best friend Theodore Edward Remus Lupin, She was a fierce and fiery protector of her family and friends. She was a mother figure to them all. Quinn was a fighter. [WARNING - Mentions of illness, death and slight mentions of sexual content (no smut/lemons).] I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR ANY CANON CHARACTERS, THEY ALL BELONG TO JK ROWLING I JUST LOVE HER WORK AND WOULD LIKE TO HONOUR IT WITH THIS BOOK. Thx -Erin

It had been eighteen months since the Battle of Hogwarts. Much like after the last war, there was a great deal to rebuild and even more to put right. The Ministry of Magic had been reconstructed almost from the ground up. Death Eaters and Voldemort loyalists were rounded up and brought to trial, while the deep corruption within the Ministry was slowly rooted out. Kingsley Shacklebolt was appointed Minister for Magic, and with the Auror Office tainted by years of corruption, he named his trusted friend Arthur Weasley as Interim Head of Magical Law Enforcement. Many who had distinguished themselves during the Battle of Hogwarts - or simply the B.O.H., as it had come to be known - were offered positions within the Ministry, even without the academic qualifications normally required. Among those recruited into the Auror Office were Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Neville Longbottom. After an accelerated academy training program and nine months of ride-alongs with seasoned Aurors, Harry and Ron were assigned as partners. For the past seven months, they had been chasing down Death Eaters, gathering evidence for prosecutions, and tracking known Snatchers - the bottom of the barrel, but dangerous all the same. Their work had earned them a reputation for success. Neville, on the other hand, had kept his head buried in books, gravitating toward research and office work rather than the dangers of the field. But that was about to change
