Lucy is in an abusive relationship, Tim is a cop that was dispatched to her house one night. He never expected to start falling for a girl that was trapped under her husband. What will happen as he tries to convince her to leave her abusive household?

During an LAPD awards night, Lucy and Tim get stuck together at the same table. They make a pact to survive the night by drinking through it. As the alcohol loosens their guard:Lucy admits she used to hate how much Tim got under her skin.Tim confesses that watching Lucy date other people drove him crazy. They both realise the attraction has always been there.Later, when the party winds down, they end up back at Tim's place after sharing a ride. The emotional tension that's been building for years finally snaps.

This story is based on, if the LAPD went on a road trip vacation after the Chenford breakup and they were figuring out their relationship. Everyone in this story is who is currently in season 6/7 of The Rookie. Aaron Thorsen isn't as he transferred stations, and Tamara Collins isn't coming because she's in College and isn't apart of the LAPD job. Although they do appear from texts or calls. Credits to the writers, directors and everybody like that who produce 'The Rookie'. This story is based for 13-18 years of age. No graphic scenes.
