A killer has been caught, but what is her story? What is her past? What is she about? A detective caught her, but how did he do that? How was he able to outsmart her? Did she do the right thing killing those men? Will his image of the world change because of her? What are their secrets? They aren't just small town killings. They are so much deeper. So much more than a dead person showing up. It's about revenge. A woman who can't let go of her past. And our detective. So smart yet so sad. Who really is he? Does he really hate the killer? If he doesn't know, will he later? So much is unknown to the human eye.

7 wives. 6 different secrets. 1 book club with lots of whispers but not much reading. No one likes each other. But they all can keep a secret. One wife is a cheater. One wife aborted her third child on a "work" trip. One wife only married to escape her criminal past. One wife took everything from her first husband just to move on to the next one. One wife has a drug addiction. One wife hated her husband so much she framed his multi-million dollar company of embezzlement. But one wife keeps her mouth shut. Never would she spill her guts no matter how much wine was poured into her cup. But as her missing husband washes up the shore of the local beach. The wives become... well suspecting of their book club gossip partner. Can they find out her secret? Or will they forever live in the shadows of Long Island?
