All the Gorillaz fans know at the end of the mini movie Damon and Jamie made, The Mountain, The Mooncave, and The Sad God, the four jump into a body of water to get reborn. but the question is... what happend AFTER they did? well, this (kinda short) story is the non-cannon answer because I'm not Damon OR Jamie, I'm just Mudz :> Oh and don't worry, there ain't no ships in here, so everyone is happy :)

Set in 1983, Murdoc needs an excuse to not be home, the neighbours down the street needing a babysitter is an easy way to achieve this and all he has to do is watch a 5y/o for a couple hours. What could go wrong? (I'm attempting to make it accurate to the time, but minimal effort is done to figure out timepieces, such as telephones and so forth) Mild warning for mentions of abuse, cigarettes, alcohol and drug usage in later chapters NOT 2Doc, 2D is literally 5 at the start of this. No.

After a nasty argument between Murdoc, 2-D, and Russel, Noodle wakes up to find out the band has split up, leaving her and Murdoc to live together. They both don't know much about "families", or whatever their situation is, or themselves. Changes constantly pile on top of each other, and they ultimately land themselves in a new life together, one that is more peaceful, loving, and personal.

After The Attack on Plastic Beach, life for the Gorillaz went back to normal. Normal, but not how it was. Kong Studios is gone, and all that's left is an unfamiliar terrace on Wobble Street that Noodle, the band she knows, and her brand new clone have to share. Life is far from tolerable, but, as time passes ans days are spent together, things ultimately improve.
