Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending. After almost a year of traveling, fighting, friendship, love, anger, and heartbreak it's time for Team Avatar to save the world and bring peace back to it. Korra's only childhood friend(Y/N) is found after two years when she moves to Republic City for her airbending training. (Y/N), although a non-bender has studied techniques of every bending type and uses her knowledge for her own self defense and to help her probending friends Mako and Bolin when training for matches. (Y/N) was found in the southern water tribe as a toddler all alone. As she grew up she was bullied for being a non-bender and constantly found in her own makeshift home struggling in the world. Until Master Katara saw (Y/N)'s potential with her fighting techniques reflecting water-bending and her being caught watching young Korra's avatar training, she was partially taken care of. When (Y/N) turned 14 she moved to republic city and has stayed there ever since without any knowledge of how her old friend is doing. The benevolent rulers and those who used to place themselves over their people, however, have something in common; they are family. Kaida, granddaughter of former Fire Lord Zuko, daughter of Fire Lord Izumi, is the next Fire Lord in line. Akemi, a highly skilled inventor and mechanics designer, is one of Republic City's trusted urban developers and Firelord Izumi's most prodigious firebending student. Having been recruited by the Earth Empire to help with their temporarily tasked mission of stabilising the Earth Kingdom, Akemi is swiftly promoted to being Kuvira's personal assistant and firebending guard. Between the Great Uniter and her assistant blossoms an intense but clandestine relationship which begins to tamper with Akemi's sense of just ethics. As Kuvira's forced plans to unite all Earth Kingdom territory - including the United Republic of Nations - are revealed to her entourage, Akemi's loyalty towards the Earth Empire cause begins to waver as her ethics are tested even more intensely. Along her journey towards taking correct actions whilst under the influence of her relationship, the firebender crosses paths with various characters of the Legend of Korra, including members of Team Avatar and a long-lost relative of hers.
