In the gray and dirty streets of Rootsen, Columbia, a girl lies in the street, sleeping and alone. Her family left her at an orphanage, a few weeks old, because they wanted her to grow up happily and never know that they existed. After all, she was a mistake. But things only got worse. No one wanted a screaming, crying, snotty-nose baby. They always took the little four-year-old girls who seem nice and caring with pink bows in their hair. She was never adopted and grew up in"The Box." At least, that's what she called it, because she felt trapped and thought there was no escape. Until, that fateful night, where she got an idea, so crazy, that even others would never think of it. To run away from "The Box" and show her parents that she was capable of taking care of herself, and so she did. She took her belongings as well as her blanket and food from the kitchen and slowly and quietly, walked out the back door, never looking back and not shedding a single tear.
