Okay, this is just a really random story that I just wrote based on a music video. If you don't want to read this, then I suggest you either find something else to read or skip to the last chapter to watch the actual video.

My rants - because all my friends have started rants and honestly no offense but they're not rants. They're just short complaints. (I doubt that mine will be different but whatever. ;) Definition: *rant* /rant/ verb. 1. to speak or shout AT LENGTH in a wild, impassioned way. "She was still ranting on about the unfairness of it all." noun. noun: rant; plural noun: rants 1. a spell of ranting; a tirade. (tirade means LOOOONG) "his rants against organized religion" "he went into a rant about them" So yes. I will be impassioned and bitchy and stupid at times but that's what ranting's about. It really is.

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm starting high school in New York, and it's not going very well. My mom died when I was really little, so it's just me and my dad. We had to move for my dad's work and I had to leave all my friends and the best middle school ever. It's the beginning of September and I'm already being bullied. Meanwhile I have a crush on a guy and he broke up with my bully a long time ago but she won't give him up. So, yeah... I need to figure these things out before the school year is over, because sophomore year will be even worse.

I was completely compatible with Lia, my twin. We were best friends. Like, forever and always. But she would always take one of my lip glosses whenever I bought a new one and hide it away. And then the kidnappers came. We had separate rooms then. No one, not even my parents had heard the people taking out the windows. But by the time I realized someone was in the house, the window in Lia's room was shattered. And she was gone. I had never found her stash of lip gloss. I had never had another one taken. Until now. The clues lead me to something much more huge, and MUCH more important.

Ever since high school started, I've been unknown in the world of sophomore popularity. The only friend I have, Dylan Hood?
