Ryland Grace knew three things at this current moment. Hopefully that would improve. One: he was on a spaceship. Two: he did not know why. Three: the woman in the medical bay where he had woken up was alive, and for reasons his brain could not provide, that mattered more than everything else. *** I usually don't post my work, but I just wanted to try it out. Terrible at writing descriptions.

Who you used to be is an irrelevant question. It's who you decide to be in the moment that matters. I woke up in space with no memory of my life on earth. All I have are my skills, instinct, and molecular biologist that I conveniently found. The universe is dying and it is our mission to carry out Project Hail Mary. Can we find ourselves while also finding the cure for the universe? Mature themes include some profanity
