Hades and Persephone ruled the Underworld side by side. They raised their children, Dionysus, Melinoë, and Macaria, together. But that was before sweet, baby Macaria toddled her way down toward the gates of Tartarus by herself. Hades may be a god, but he can only run so fast, and only so much can be done when Kronos has awoken again. Persephone has to face the reality of ruling and parenting alone after her husband's death. And Hades? He needs to get back to his family, his Persephone, at all costs. But what if one of those costs... is Persephone? The storyline is my original idea, but the characters and world-building are all Rachel Smythe's!
