Summary: When Nico di Angelo is ten years old, he begins coughing up blue flower petals. He thinks it's just a side effect of being a demigod, until the cruel truth is revealed to him. He hates it. He hates his feelings, he hates the flowers, and he hates Percy Jackson. Well, at least he tries to. It doesn't work, and his condition gets worse and worse. It's to the point where entire bouquets of flowers that are the result of his coughing fits, and he covers up any trace of them. Nico wonders how much longer it'll be until the disease spreads even further. Until he's no longer able to breathe. He accepts the fact that he just might die of suffocation in the near future. That is, until his condition is suddenly cured when Will Solace comes into the picture. In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position. This was gonna be one hell of a summer.

His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist?
