Usually, after-work suggestions from coworkers mean drinks and karaoke, both of which Opal normally declines in favor of a good nap. Finding herself in a creaky house surrounded by candles and spiderwebs? That should have been her first red flag. The ghost of the house realizes someone can finally see her and suddenly promises are being made to help a sister move on. The sister? A cop with her own vendetta. Opal is dragged into a cold case for a ghost she'd rather not be able to see because apparently, normal life was too much to ask for. Between late nights, dark corners, and dusty old documents Opal finds herself talking to the dead whether she likes it or not. Either they'll find the answers, or they'll be adding to the ghostly population.

Leith Dyer is a columnist at successful online magazine Marigold. After two years of writing low-stake lists and occasionally helping to create a crossword puzzle or two, Marigold's editor-in-chief thinks it's time for Leith to write her first actual column - also known as an 'in'-piece - for this year's summer editions. The catch? The column has to be a witty, swoon-worthy commentary on today's dating market, with the red string tying everything together being nine first dates. For someone who's never dated before, that's a lot. But Leith seems to have no choice. In the midst of publicity chaos, online opinions, ship-wars and trying to hone her craft, Leith decides that the only way to not completely embarrass herself for all of the internet to see, is to take on a character. But when the success of her column starts to spiral out of control, the lines between the character Leith, the person Leith, and the columnist Leith start to blur. How much of her is real, and how much is fictional? And when it all comes down to it, which of these nine men even know the real her? A contemporary workplace romance about visibility, authorship, and the uncomfortable truth that some stories don't stay within the boundaries you set for them. New chapters every monday! 𝑾𝒂𝒓 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆. 𝑰𝒏𝒌 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆. Cordelia Whitcombe has never known a world without Nolan Harrow. Raised side by side in an orphanage, bound by scraped knees and shared secrets, they grew into something deeper than friendship, something that felt unbreakable. Even war, she believed, could not sever what they were. She was wrong. When Nolan marches to the Eastern Frontier, Cordelia promises to wait. But waiting becomes its own battlefield. As regiments are ordered to hold doomed ground and the Dominion advances across blood-soaked fields, letters falter. Rumors spread. Silence stretches. Then a death notice arrives. Cordelia descents through grief; from denial to fury, from bargaining to a quiet and terrifying acceptance. And just as she prepares to surrender herself to the river that once carried their childhood laughter- A letter arrives. Signed in familiar ink. Claiming the impossible that he is still alive. The handwriting is steadier. The sentences are more measured. More thoughtful than she remembers. There is something in the tone; restrained, deliberate, almost solemn that does not quite match the boy who once splashed beside her in the shallows. But hope is a powerful thing. And grief will believe what it must. In a world where names are misplaced on lists and boys vanish into mud and smoke, how much faith can be placed in paper? Ink Between Trenches, a haunting epistolary novel of love, war, and survival, told through letters and fractured moments across the front. How far would you go to save someone... even if it meant becoming someone else? Highest Ranking: #1 in epistolary- 16th July 2026 #9 in soldier- 23rd Feb 2026

"When the star-flower blooms beyond its mountain, The one who endures shall mend the fracture of worlds. Neither sky nor stone shall sway her heart, For through her steps, the frozen paths shall thaw." Astraea Edelweiss has always dreamed of seeing her favorite flower in real life. She never imagined it would find her. One star-shaped bloom appears overnight in her backyard-and the moment she touches it, Astraea is hurled into a world of magic, prophecy, and danger. A realm built on a prophecy meant for a savior she is not. The Keepers admit their mistake: they summoned the wrong human. The realm is fracturing. Winter spreads unchecked. Monsters slip through cracks in reality. They want her gone. But Astraea refuses to leave. Not to fulfill the prophecy-but to rewrite it. She discovers the truth long buried in ancient scrolls: the prophecy never said "he." It said: "The one who endures." In a world that rejects her, with fate stacked against her, Astraea must defy magic, challenge myths, and prove that endurance-and courage-has no gender. Book Cover: Created by a good friend of mine.
