Right from the moment that she laid eyes on him, Delphinus Black is not interested in being in a relationship at the moment, thank you very much. She's just gotten her parents to hold off on planning her marriage to another pureblood. She's just barely started Hogwarts, for Merlin's sake! James Potter, on the other hand, was entranced by Delphi from the moment he saw her. When they've become part of a five-part best friendship, James couldn't be more delighted. He is quite blatant with his feelings towards Delphi, but Delphi only thinks that he's messing with her.
